The Árpád-era church stands on a hill in the centre of the village, surrounded by the Millennium Park.
The church was built in the 13th century in the Romanesque style, but only part of the masonry and a window from this period have survived. The church was enlarged in the 14th century, when the pointed-arched windows and the Gothic south doorway were added. The sacristy and the tower were built in the 19th century, while the high altar is in neoclassical style.
