Somlyó Hill Lookout
In Alsóörs, above the cemetery, the Somlyó Hill Lookout is the newest symbol of Alsóörs. Visitors can admire all the beauty of the Bakony and Lake Balaton. On 29 April the dream came true, a new lookout was built, surpassing its predecessor in every way.
Somlyó Hill is located near Alsóörs. The lookout can be reached by several routes, signposted in the village. From the nearest car parks it is a 10-minute easy walk to the lookout. The lookout is located at a higher point, so hikers are guaranteed a magnificent panorama. From Balatonalmádi to Tihany you can enjoy breathtaking views.
Walks and excursions along the paths leading to the lookout offer many opportunities for nature lovers. The surrounding woodland and natural attractions add to the experience. An excellent place for photography, especially at sunset or sunrise.
