The balcony of the wooden building offers an unparalleled view of the Bakony and the eastern basin of Lake Balaton.
The lookout was built in the middle of the 19th century and since then it has been a popular destination for hikers and excursionists.The lookout was renovated in 2015. The blue signposted hiking trail from Csopak and through the forest leads to the Sándor Endrődi Lookout. There are rest benches next to the lookout, so you can have a nice picnic while hiking. To the north, you can see the wooded plateau of the Veszprém plateau, and to the west, the Balaton plateau, which borders the Balaton, and the wooded, vine-clad, settled river plain of the Balaton highlands.
