Paloznak is situated on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, at the southern foot of the Bakony Mountains, with a magnificent view of the lake from the forested hillsides. An exceptional Mediterranean climate has developed here, where you can enjoy the clean air and sunshine from early spring to late autumn. On the southern hillsides, the grapes and peaches ripen and the figs ripen.
It is worth visiting the monuments of the Hild Prize-winning village, the Árpád church, the belfry, the folk farmhouses and the Tájház. In the summer, in addition to bathing at Lake Balaton, there are open-air concerts, exhibitions and church concerts. On the last weekend of September, the traditional village festivals with harvest festivities await the guests.
